Eyal Engel

Eyal Engel is the VP of Technical Product Marketing at Cyera, where he leads positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy in the data and AI security space.

Prior to Cyera, Eyal held product marketing leadership roles at Datadog, where he helped shape platform positioning, drive adoption across key offerings, and scale high-performing teams during a period of rapid growth. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade as a professional basketball player in Israel, captaining teams and winning four local championships.

Eyal brings a combination of technical depth, business acumen, and a competitive mindset, focused on high-quality outputs, strong cross-functional collaboration, and tangible business impact. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo and an MBA from Cornell Tech.
